Riddick's Kitchen
I couldn't discuss Hempstead restaurants without discussing Riddick's Kitchen. The pictures really don't do the food justice. It was an off day, and I was shooting through plastic. Inexpensive, but not cheap. The meatloaf, mac and cheese, collard greens and banana pudding with a root beer was $13. Although they don't serve barbecue as I consider it their turkey wings and brisket are supposed to be delicious. I usually get breakfast when I go there. Pancakes, grits and orange juice and sometimes a ham steak. All are very satisfying.

Wow, those photos look great.
While watching Riddick box in the 90's, I never knew he had any cooking skills.
Bowe knows down home cooking, I see.
He has mad skills.
