On top of old Smokey's

Smokey's Rib pit formerly of Sutphin Blvd is now on Seventh Street in Garden City. I was not a regular at Smokey's only having gone their once on my way to my folks place on the island, but I had plans. They made good brisket, tasty mac and cheese as well as fries and onion rings. Real BBQ, not great, but compared to McDonald's or Golden Krust it might as well have been Bryant's. Now it is gone, well not gone, but wherever Garden City is.
