Death Penalty

I got into a discussion about the death penalty at work. It's just a laugh riot at the traffic court. I said said cops, and other civil servents should be considered a protected class and knowingly attacking and killing one of them should bring the death penalty. This includes traffic court clerks. Glen disagreed. He stated all victims should be valued equally and what they did should not be a factor in terms of penalties. Senator, or record store clerk it just shouldn't matter. I just can't agree. However you may feel about law enforcement they are the legitimate face of authority in this country, which of course makes their abuses many more times as serious as the average persons. When you attack the agents of this country you attack this country.
